PROCEDURE
- LASER TREATMENT
During
the first session, the patient together with the hairs to be treated
shall be evaluated. This is to pinpoint the area to be treated,
the size, color and the number of hairs.
It
is important to ask the patient, if she has already waxed in the
previous month because the visible hair is less than the actual
hairs. The area to be lased is shaved and then a cooling gel is
applied. Safety goggles to be worn by patient during treatment.
Laser
beam is directed on the prepared area. After lasing the area,
a healing rose oil is applied. About 20-30% of hair is lost with
each treatment, the subsequent hair growth is less. The patient
is advised to come after 2 months for treatment.
Generally
6-8 treatment are required for laser permanent hair removal. In
between treatment the patient is advised to avoid waxing plucking
and electrolysis, bleaching. The should only do threading or use
creams to remove the hairs. This procedure is the latest available
treatment for hair removal.
